Hasty Bake Starter Kit
All you need to begin your journey into Hasty Bake Charcoal cooking:
- A bottle of our famous fire gel - 32 Ounces of odorless, alcohol-based fire starter gel which applies easily, starts quickly, and burns cleanly without the lighter fluid taste.
- Our stainless steel grill scraper that features a formed scraper head which perfectly matches the angled grate pattern on both our large and small grills, ensuring your grates are as clean as they can be.
- Our Grilling Grant's Way Cookbook, which includes recipes from established local and national charcoal grill cooks, as well as hilarious, emotional, and jaw-dropping stories from the Hasty Bake creator himself, Grant Hastings.
- Red Hasty Bake welding gloves, reinforced with Kevlar. Used for pulling out the Hasty Bake Fire Box when adding charcoal, or any other situation that might be hot on the hands.
The starter kit looks nice, but, I still don’t have the grill to try them on!
Everyone should get this kit with a new grill. Tools are helpful and book is a great read.
Been down the road with gas grills, pellet grills, kettle grills, and smokers, when all is said and done none of them gave me the delicious charcoal flavor and taste I wanted. Hasty Bake does.
The design leaves a bit to be desired, especially in terms of user safety.
The fire door handle should be insulative, as should be the hood handle. To some degree the hood handle is insulated, but Hasty Bake sells a silicone hood handle (apparently to augment the insulation). Why not do the same for the Fire Door which is closest to the fire?
The user guide should state: 1) Put on the Hasty Bake Gloves. 2) Approach grill. 3) Begin using the grill.
Seriously, I am sure the grill will bring years of enjoyment and tasty cooking, but the dangerous handles are unforced errors.
Everything was great
