Designed in partnership with several world championship competitors in the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA), the HB:250 is extremely versatile, with precision intake and exhaust vents, a two-position firebox (7" or 4.5" from cooking grate), and a slide-in heat deflector that gives you the ability to sear on one side and bake your steak to perfection on the other. It comes equipped with a carry handle and latch for convenient transport. Cleanout is easy, with a removable firebox and ash pan to dump your coal and be on the road in minutes. Boasting Hasty Bake/SCA partnership badging, the HB:250 ships with custom GrillGrate-brand cooking grates and an elevated extender to get your food off the grates and achieve a full 150-degrees of difference from the searing position. Jeremy Ragle In opening box the Overall grill seems built as it should, But, no sear grates or spatula just grill with broken top handle. i was stoked when ordering it as i was “upgrading” my sca comp grill, assuming the sear grates a spatula were included. They were not, All it says is back ordered and no date on when would be getting them so the sca event I was hoping to start with it I was unable to as grill was incomplete for task I needed it for. So now it’s in my comp trailer and I will sell it at next event and stick with my PK.

ERIK ROGAN I have many, many grills… this one is by far the one I use the most. It’s easy to use, heats up fast, maintains heat and super easy to clean and very portable. It has so many things it does effortlessly: sear, grill, direct, indirect, bake etc.!
It is the perfect size for 2-3 people sized meals. Love that it is compact enough to take camping. I would definitely recommend.
