Hasty Bake Firebox
This is a replacement Firebox for your Hasty Bake grill. The firebox slides in and out of the lift mechanism and holds the charcoal in place. If you are ordering this part, you may need to consider also ordering a replacement firegrate.
It's very important that you measure the dimensions before ordering a part. If your grill was made before 1988 your dimensions may be slightly different.
The Ranger Firebox only fits a 2010 model and newer.

We bought our stainless steel Legacy in 1988. I have ordered replacement parts 3 times over its life to completely rebuild the grill. As a testament to the design and materials, the grill works today as it did when we bought it. On March 15th I ordered $490.38 worth of replacement parts for the latest rebuild. On April 3 I received an email from HB announcing a 20% discount on replacement parts. On April 3 I sent an email to customer support, ticket #2157, requesting some consideration on my order. HB responded only after I sent a follow up message requesting an answer. Their answer, which I understood, was that my order was placed 18 days before the sale was announced so therefore no consideration was available. To justify their position they said that the discount offer was not planned and it just happened impromptu and no one was aware of the announcement before it went out. Hard to believe. My concern with my experience is not with “what” HB’s response was but the “how”. It essentially projected a “too bad so sad live with it” message without any consideration to a long time customer who has invested a large sum of money into their excellent product. The $98 discount is not going to break the bank, but HB’s response represents an arrogant, “too bad” attitude…a cheap token of appreciation or a discount rain check toward a future purchase would have been the expected customer relations response. Great product…Lousy Customer Relations.
