I really love the consistency and ease of use!!

I was using the PK original for steaks at SCA (Steak Cookoff Association) events but wasn't happy with the consistency. After speaking to several people in the SCA a fellow competitor sold me on the Ranger. I've done several practice cooks on it and I can't get over how consistent my grate temps are. I'm within a 5 degree range from one end of the grates to the other. Never had that kind of consistency out of the PK. I'm going to start the 2021 SCA season January 15th in Shreveport La and will be bringing my Ranger.

love the cooker only issue is with quality control. found hardware in the bottom of cooker and had to install on the lifting arms. lid was crooked to the body of cooker. but cooks great.

Better than I expected

Wanted a grill for the wife and I to use with our 5th wheel when camping. Honestly we have used it already at home and it will see a lot of use. Quality made grill. Actually heavier than I planned on. Can’t wait to really put it to use. We have a nice pellet grill and a separate smoker but this thing may be the go to for a while. Really like it.
