The materials Hasty Bake uses are top notch. I know because I have two of my father's hasty bake ovens, one from the late 50'sto early 60's and another from later in the 60's. I also have four others. I may have issue...hahaha. I would not have them if they didn't do their job! Thank you Hasty Bakle!
Do yourself a favor and get this griddle. This is better than most restaurant griddles, built like a TANK (would you expect anything less from Hasty Bake…) Fits perfectly in place of your existing grill grate which takes 1/2 your cooking space. This is perfect for indirect cooking. After seasoning a few times with grapeseed oil, my first cook was fajitas. Got my new griddle ripping hot (I have found right between the bake and sear position worked for me with a 15 min preheat) While my skirt and veg seared and caramelized I was able to warm my tortillas on the indirect side and no worries of burning. Long story short. I absolutely love this and everything else in have purchased from Hasty Bake.
