Made by hand in Tulsa, Oklahoma of 1/4" and 3/16" heavy-duty, corten steel, this stove will last a lifetime. Corten is specially designed to surface rust and self-seal, creating a rustic outer shell without affecting the integrity of the steel. Last winter I cleaned it and oiled it up came out of the spring a little dusty(stored an old chicken coop). This is the best purchase I have make to cater off of. Start off the day with firing up this old girl with hackberry to start coffee on, pull an eye with to start my breakfast protein to make breakfast burritos. She can also be used as a warmer with a roaster 3 cups water and a roasting pan liner. I’m so impressed with craftsmanships. State fire marshal is fascinated with the spark arrester, had to get checked off for insurance. A must have if you cook in wide open places like I do
I received my Bertha last Thursday and it was delivered in great condition. After putting on the tires, I wheeled it into my backyard with no problems. I gave Bertha a light coat of vegetable oil and quickly started my first fire. Appropriately, my first use was Cowboy Coffee. Saturday, I grilled chicken breasts and Sunday, I cooked Cowboy Gumbo on it. Through it all, Bertha was easy to use and clean; she even got her first baptism of rain on Sunday morning. I couldn’t be more delighted and can’t recommend enough if you are a lover of fire and food. Thank you Kent and Hasty Bake for a great product!
Fired up the range on Tuesday to cook lunch for all the 4H’ers checking in their exhibits Cowboy sloppy joes and frito pies using mulberry, the smell coming off the range was so sweet. Cooked over 600 meals ,100 lbs Hamburg ,15 lbs sausage, 15 lbs bacon, 50 each of hamburgers and 1/4 lbs hotdogs and 200 biscuits on 1/3 cord of wood. Bertha survived over 2” of rain and looks even better. I but Bertha through her paces. Thanks Hasty Bake and Kent Rollins for joining up and make one heck of a range coal maker and grill
Let’s start by saying it’s been a dream this whole experience Hasty Bake help me with a few questions I had. After purchasing Bertha shipped quick and the shipping company used had great communication with me on this shipment. After receiving Bertha I baked it in and cooked a meal for the family. Bertha seasoned up really nice and is a very well constructed range. My only complaint is I had to grind some sharp edge and round a few corners. I will give another review at the end of August, I will be cooking around 700 portions on it. Would like to thank Kent Rollins for working with Hasty Bake to bring this the public
I can’t be more pleased with this stove. Makes cooking so much easier sitting near by chuckwagon. Construction is exceptional.
