I have had a Roughneck Smoker in Corten steel for about 3 years now. It is an awesome smoker. However, we needed a "Swiss army knife" grill. The Legacy Model 133 is exactly that. Delivery was from Fedex and they actually drove the big truck into the back yard and put the pallet into my smoke shed. Assembly (not much required) was easy. I fired it up to burn off the oils which was also easy. The Legacy 133 works exactly as I expected. I'm now waiting for the 2nd of my 2 "rat rods" to patina. This was an awesome addition to my outdoor bbq and smoking tools.
This is my first Hasty Bake . Its an absolute beast and a work of art ! I love it !
My father-in-law purchased a Pioneer Model 463 over 60 years ago. He passed recently and we inherited the grill. Oh my the many years of family and friends enjoying this grill are stories of generations now! It still cooks the most wonderful burgers, steaks, fillet Mignon and briskets you would ever want! Amazing always, everytime. After 60 years it is showing some rust. The grill grates are still as good as new. The coal pan is rusted through but we improvised with some stretch wire to keep it cooking. Hasty Bake, you are amazing. My son in laws are now convinced that the their Gas grills, their Treager and Blackstones are soon to be history. Hasty Bake has won their hearts, and their taste buds. Just letting you know. Great job Hasty Bake. There is no other grill that can match it! Tom
Everything was Perfect. From the placing the order, the Communication, the Order handling, the delivery and the packing.
My well used kettle grill was due for replacement. I was all set to buy a kamado-style grill when a helpful Reddit thread turned me on to the existence of Hasty Bake. After doing some research, I took the plunge, and am *so* happy that I did.
My new Legacy came 99% assembled, it's built like a tank, it can seamlessly go from low-and-slow to "fires of hell" sear temp in the same cook, and unlike most eyesores on the market, the mid-century aesthetic and corten steel make it a real looker. I bought the cover; I don’t want to use it.
On top of all that, it’s made here in the USA by a small company with a long track record of support. Out of the blue the even sent me a beautiful brisket to cook up. Incredible.
You will not regret this purchase. I sure don’t.
